I'm Back....

YEAH!!! I've been stamping again too! Not my favorite work, but it fixed some of my craving! :)

I'm feeling a lot better! Thank you for all your get well wishes and kind thoughts! It really makes a person feel good!

I made a couple cards last night using a stamp set from the Holiday mini that made it into the Spring/summer Catalog. I'm so glad it made it...I bought this set, but never made a card or anything with it. So now I get to play with it some more!

The first card is the sketch challenge over at SCS. I usually need some help (sketches, casing, things like that) to get me started and then after that I'm usually good to go and create on my own. This card started out with the intentions of using masking...but I didnt like the way it looked...I think I need to use a neutral instead of just doing it on the River Rock CS. But I need to order some...I'm REALLY low on my neutrals. So instead of redo-ing the whole card...I just covered it up with the punched images. Hope you like it.

Stamps: True Friend
Paper: Ruby Red, River Rock, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou and very Vanilla
Ink: Blue Bayou, Ruby Red and River Rock
Accessories: Soft Sky DS Ribbon

I CASEd this card from the Stampin' Success (a magazine demonstrators get from Stampin' Up). I changed the color combos, the stamps used and I scalloped the bottom of the card. I finally got that down, so now it actually looks like a scalloped edge! At first I didn't like it, but it grew on me once I stared at it for a while. LOL.

Stamps: True Friend
Paper: Really Rust, Soft Sky and Very Vanilla
Ink: Really Rust, Old Olive markers and Soft Sky Stamp Pad.
Accessories: Old Olive Wide Grosgrain, Scallop punch, 1 1/4 circle Punch and corner rounder.

Hope you enjoyed my cards! Thanks for stopping by!

No stamping lately! Just letting you know that I'll try to get some done today. No promises though...I've been on antibiotics for a sinus infection and now I'm having an allergic reaction to it. My first allergic reaction to medication....so I have this rash all over my body (which doesn't bother me that much), but my joints have been hurting since the rash appeared so it's hard to sit or stand for long periods of time...or just even walk for a long time. So I got to watch myself. I took some allergy medicine last night and that seemed to help a little bit...I guess...my legs don't hurt as bad as they did last night. And last night was the worst of it. So maybe I'm just getting better! :) Supposedly I have four more days of this....

Anyways....hopefully I'll get some stamping done...I miss it!

I just added a calendar I made for my MIL for Christmas 2006. I know it's old, but I took the pictures and just realized that I never shared them with anyone...so I guess you get to see them. I swear the calendar looks better in real life...well you can see things better. LOL. Her whole house is the vineyard type style so I did the calendar to go a long with that. You can see it in the right hand column. Thanks for looking! It was hard to give it away.

I'm trying to figure out what I want to do for Christmas cards. I think I might stick with this one. Not a whole lot of coloring and it's pretty simple. I think I'll go play a little more and make up my mind then. :)

Stamps: Wishing you Cheer

Paper: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky and Very Vanilla

Ink: Close to Cocoa, So Saffron, Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky and Basic Gray

Stampin' Up! sent all active demonstrators a free Stamp Set called Time Well Spent. It will be a Level 3 Hostess Set in the Spring/Summer 2008 Catalog. I love this set! I don't have very many stamp sets that are great for watercoloring...it's not my strong side! :) So instead of watercoloring the stamped images I used my markers to color it in. To make the "Friends" in the sentiment stand out a little more I colored it in with a Real Red Marker. I didn't have a VersaMarker, or else I would have used that instead. Hope you like it.
Stamps: Time Well Spent
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, So Saffron and Tempting Turquoise
Ink: Real Red, So Saffron and Tempting turquoise Markers, and Basic Black Classic Ink
Accessories: brads.

I stamped a card finally! :) I do have to thank my secret sister for the layout of the card and a piece of paper I found that I had written a color combo on a while ago...don't even remember where I got the color combo. But I love how this card turned out...too bad I'm tired and don't have enough energy to stamp another card tonight. Well I'm sure I can get the energy (can you ever run out of "stamping energy"?) but I don't think my brain is up to it. :) I don't even know why I'm typing this before I head to bed....oh I know! Because I'm SOOOOOO excited that I actually got a card done! I actually stamped! Yeah! Okay...now you guys know I'm really tired I keep rambling on and on...okay time for me to go to bed. I hope you enjoy the card! Thanks for stopping by.

November 26, 2007

Sorry I haven't posted much! I haven't had any creativity lately! I just sit in my room and stare at my desk or my stamps! It's been like that a lot lately and then as soon as I figure out what I'm going to do of course something comes up. :) Isn't that how it always is! LOL! I got my house clean though...so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to create something! Keep your fingers crossed! thanks for stopping by.

November 11, 2007

Okay...so my scanner didn't scan this card very well! I really need to get a digital!

I made this for my BIL who is in the hospital...we are supposed to go see him today. As for masculine sets...I think this is my only one remotely close...which is good because I finally used this set after ordering it a couple months ago. Yes, I've "played" with it...stamping images, but never actually putting a card together. So I hope you like it. It looks better in real life though. Well at least I think so.

In the bottom right hand corner is where I heat embossed "So Sorry" in Clear EP...maybe I should have used a different color. Hmmm....oh well too late now.

Hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!

Card Recipe: (All supplies Stampin' Up! Unless otherwise noted).

Stamps: Wanted, Sanded and Fundamental Phrases

Paper: Sage Shadow, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip and very vanilla

Inks: Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Sage Shadow and VersaMark

Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Stampin' Dimensionals and Heat Tool

Simple, but to the point I guess

My mom came over and stamped with me today... I could get my creative juices going...so I just stayed simple. The Chocolate Chip is stamped with the Sanded Background Stamp in Chocolate Chip. I just got that background stamp so I really wanted to use it. :) My mom really wanted to use the Polka Dot and Paisley Set so that's where that came from. I know it's not much, but I hope you like it. I hope I can get some more stamping done later today or probably tomorrow.

Stamps: Sanded, Big Bold Birthday and Polka Dots and Paisley

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose and Very Vanilla

Ink: Whisper White Craft, Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip Classic

Accessories: Very Vanilla 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon

I've been Tagged

Okay...this is going to be fun! Never done this before, so here it goes:

1. If you could have 100.00 worth of scrapbook paper or assorted embellishments, which would you choose?
I would choose assorted emblellishments...I have TONS of paper! Usually if I go to a store to buy embellishments I usually end up buying paper instead.

2. If you had to choose between using only stamps or ribbons, which would you choose?
Stamps! You can do a lot more with stamps!

3. If you knew how to do both awesome cards and layouts but could only do one for a whole year…which would you do?
I'm going to have to say layouts...maybe that would help me catch up on my scrapbooking!

4. Would you rather own a scrap booking store or have your own scrapping room at home...
I'd rather have my scrapbooking room...that way when I want MY time I can have my time! :)

5. What is your CURRENT card making or scrapping style? I don't know what you would call it! Simple I guess. I really like the distressing type stuff though, but never really do it on my cards or anything.

Here are the rules…………..Please answer the questions on your blog and tag 5 more people to answer the same questions……….make sure you list on your blog who you are tagging….Thanks!!

I have been scrapbooking for about 8 years off and on. I started stamping about a two years ago and love everything about it. I became a SU! demonstrator in April 2007 and love everything about it! Thanks for stopping by!

Inspiration

The other day I was playing with my girls outside and Kierstyn (my youngest daughter) was wearing a jacket that remined me of Stampin' Up! colors (then again, what other colors do I think in?! LOL). I don't have a picture of the jacket or a camera to take one...but the colors reminded me of Barely Banana or So Saffron, Bravo Burgandy and Blue Bayou. I decided to make a card using these colors. It's pretty simple...I was really tired when I decided to make it. But I still like how it turned out. I might try making another card, but using So Saffron instead of Barely Banana. Thanks for looking! Hope you like it!

No pictures today

I've been creating stuff, but nothing I can post. It's for my secret sister and I don't want her to know who I am yet! Also, I've been working on the stuff for my upcoming workshop, but I don't want my hostess (aka my best friend) seeing what I'll be doing. So hopefully, I'll be able to get some extra stuff done so I can show you guys! I've actually been trying to scrapbook! I started a layout and it's pretty much done except for the journaling, but I need my husbands help with that, since it's mainly about him. When I finish that I'll post it! Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Stamp-a-Stack

My Christmas Stamp-a-stack turned out really well! The Monday before my SAS I had two people that were coming. Then by Thursday (2 days before my SAS) I had 10 people coming. So lets just say I had fun cutting out all the cards in just two days! :) It was my first one ever! Before I became a demonstrator I had never been to a Stamp-a-Stack before....so it was kind of challenging for me to figure out how I wanted to do everything. But I think it turned out very well! I have a workshop on the 22nd that I need to get ready for. So I should be creating more stuff to share with you guys! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted! Thanks for stopping by!

Feel free to contact me if you are interested (leave a comment or email me)! Thanks for stopping by!

Layout Updates

I can't make up my mind, on how I want my blog to look! So sorry for all the changes! It'll probably change again, until I find something I like! ☺

Masculine Happy Birthday

So to be honest, I have the hardest time making masculine cards! It might have something to do with the fact that I don't have much to work with...most of my stamps are girly! I have tons of flowers and I just can't get enough of them.

Anyways...Today I need to make a card for my best friends' husband's birthday, it took me an hour to decide that I was just going to CASE something from the FWC (Fall Winter Catalog). So since I have the starstruck stamp set and it's boyish/manly...I decided on the card made on page 89.

Didn't do it exactly...I made it a 5x5 Close to Cocoa instead of a 3x3; with the Chocolate Chip Wide Grosgrain Ribbon wrapped around the card base. Since I couldn't get the stars lined up in a timely fashion, I just randomly stamped them onto Really Rust cardstock. I matted the Really Rust with Chocolate Chip and distressed the edges with my fingernail. I then distressed the Very Vanilla and stamped "happy birthday" from All Holidays in Chocolate Chip. I took the star stamp and stamped it in Close to Cocoa ink and embossed it in clear and then colored in the center with a Really Rust Stampin' Write Marker. I cut out the circle/star shape and adhered it to a punched 3/4" circle of Sage Shadow with Stampin' Dimensionals. Also, adhered the Sage Shadow to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional.
If I wasn't making any sense at all, I apologize! It's past my bed time! :)

Just an update

I just got back from a little trip to my sisters house, so once I get caught up with laundry and all that good stuff I will stamp and show you what I've created! Thanks for stopping by!

September 9, 2007

Yes, I'm still alive! My family has been sick, so I haven't had much time to stamp! But I did have time to get this simple card done today. I love it, even though it's simple-sometimes simple is beautiful...hope you agree!? :) I wasn't even planning on doing a card...I just wanted to play with my new sets and try out some watercoloring with my new markers! I'm very happy with the result!

I started with watercolor (WC) paper and the flowers, from the hostess set Oh, So Lovely and watercolored with my Stampin' Up markers (More mustard, Ruby Red and Always Artichoke). First time using markers to watercolor! I mounted the WC paper on More Mustard and then added a strip of Ruby Red behind that. Before I glued that down, I used my new wheel Rough Texture with Always Artichoke ink and made the base of my card. I then took a scrap of Ruby Red and placed some Always Artichoke brads on the side. Then I took So Many Sayings, another hostess set and inked just the line of words I needed with my Always Artichoke marker and stamped it on the ruby red! And glued everything down!

Sorry, if none of that made any sense! I'm tired, but wanted to get something new on my blog before I went to bed! Thanks for looking and I hope you like it as much as me!

August 31, 2007

I made my first square card! It was so much fun! I used Beate's weekend sketch challenge, found here. I love challenges...especially ones using a sketch. If I don't have a lot of time to stamp or scrapbook, I use a sketch. It takes me a LOOOOOONNNNNNNNG time to figure out what I want to do with a page and EVEN longer to pick out the colors!!! :)

Here's the card:

My scanner isn't the best! But you get the idea! I need to get a digital!

I don't use Pick a Petal a lot...infact I think this is my second time actually finishing a project with it. I started with my base, Basic Gray measured at 5x5. I stamped both circles in versaMark onto the Basic Gray then added a piece of Designer Paper from Brocade Backgrounds, which was glued down and then I faux stitched the edges (first time doing that too). Then I stamped the petals in Ruby Red and Mellow Moss and cut them out. I also stamped the circle with the dots in it in mellow moss on River Rock card stock and punched it out with my 3/4" circle punch. Then I stamped it again on ruby red and cut it out and layered it with the river rock piece using dimensionals. Before adhering that to the page I then added the ribbon and the pewter hodgepodge hardware. The saying under the hardware is from the Vases in Vogue set and uses only part of the stamp "a flower for you". Then I adhered the flower petals and that was that! Pretty simple, but I like the way it turned out! Thanks for looking!

Supplies at a quick glance:
Stamps: Pick a petal and Vases in Vogue
Paper: Basic Gray, Very Vanilla and Brocade Background DP
Ink: Mellow Moss, Ruby Red and VersaMark
Accessories: Basic Black 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, and hodgepodge hardware Pewter, oh and dimensionals.

I know I'm a liar...

Okay, so I lied about posting everyday...maybe I should have said 2-3 times a week or something?! But it has helped me get some stuff done and to post here even if I didn't get anything done. I don't really have anything stamping to share right now, but maybe later today. Thanks for stopping by!

August 24, 2007

Finally finished a Challenge...

I decided to actually do a sketch challenge from Artistic Avenger. I love her blog! She inspires me so much!

I hadn't used the Polka dots and Paisleys set in a while, so I wanted to do something with that.

First I made my card base (4 1/4 X 5 1/2) out of Bravo Burgandy. Then I took the polka dot stamp and inked it in Sage Shadow and stamped it on my Sage Shadow CS (4 1/4 X 3). I also distressed the top edge of the stamped cardstock.

For the main image, I took Very Vanilla CS and stamped the paisley stamp randomly in Sage Shadow, Creamy Caramel and Bravo Burgandy. Then I sponged the edges in Creamy Caramel. Next, I took my Creamy Caramel CS (5 X 2 1/4") and distressed the edges with my scissors, then matted the Very Vanilla. I also, popped up the focal image with Stampin Dimensionals.

I didn't have an oval punch, so I used and oval sticker and traced it and cut it out. I inked "Happy" in Bravo Burgandy and stamped it on my Very Vanilla oval. I then inked the edges of the oval in Creamy Caramel. I also, popped the oval with Stampin' Dimensionals (just on the right side).

Hope I didn't make the instructions confusing! I never know how to word everything. :) Hope you enjoy it! I really like this one...love the colors.

More Stamping....Finally!

I've actually had time to stamp! Not much, but I got one card done today! :) Wanted to get some samples done for my workshop! I have a lot to do! :) I wanted to do Set Samplers...which are making several cards using one stamp set (this was new to me...found out about from the lovely
SCSers) Thank you! Here is the ONE card that I did get done...will be doing more tomorrow!
Supplies:
Stamps: Happiness Background
Paper: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Groovy Guava and So Saffron
Inks: Blue Bayou
Accessories: Blue Bayou Double Stitched Ribbon, Dimensioinals, 1 1/4" Square Punch, 1 3/8 Square Punch and 1/2" circle punch.

Mini Album

These are pages from a mini album I am making for my Daughter. When her sister was first born, she stayed with my in-laws for a couple of days. These are the pictures that they took! All these pages are using the Fall Flowers Designer Paper. I love it! They aren't really in any order and I am not completely done with the project...just thought I would start loading them onto my computer so I didn't have a huge project when I was done with the album! Thanks for looking!

August 19, 2007

A little more...

Okay...I posted earlier about my workshop and I finally finished my 6x6 page. I hope you like it. It started out completely different, but I'm happy with the way it turned out! I think the kissing technique (the star in the right hand corner) was the hardest for me...Trying to figure out the two colors that worked together the best. At first, the I inked the star in River Rock and then a word stamp from Define your life in Purely Pomegranate, but it looked too much like Christmas so I inked it again the same way...just this time when I inked the star in River Rock I stamped it off on scrap paper first before I added the word stamp in Purely Pomegranate. Thanks for looking!

Supplies:
Stamps: Define Your Life and All about Occassions
Paper: Purely Pomegranate, River Rock and Le Jardin Designer Series
Ink: River Rock and Purely Pomegranate
Accessories: Photo Corner Punch and Spiral Punch, Pewter Hodgepodge Hardware, Purely Pomegranate Double stitched ribbon and Basic Black Stampin' Write Journaler.

Workshop M&T

This is for MY first workshop! I had a customer reschedule hers so I decided to hold my first one...so I can get some practice in! This is the make and Take we are going to be doing. I am also going to demo a scrapbook page and then some kind of 3D item! Haven't figured those out yet! I have an idea, but just haven't done it. I am going to use the kissing technique on all my projects! So hopefully my customers will like it!

Happy Mail!

I got an awesome package from my secret sister today! It's nice getting stuff that isn't Stampin' Up! I haven't bought anything that wasn't Stampin' Up! since I became a demonstrator! I'm finding it hard to use the stuff I bought that wasn't Stampin' Up!, is that making any sense?

Well here is the package that I got and the card she sent me also! I'm so happy!

No stampin?

I haven't really been doing any stamping. I need to though, because I have a workshop on the 29th and I still don't know what I'm going to do. I did make a card, but it's for my little sister (secret sister). So when the round is over, I'll make another one (since I forgot to scan the one I sent to her) and post it for you! I'm also in the middle of making some card candy! It will be my first time attempting it, so it's a little slow going right now. I'll keep everything up to date. My house is clean now, so I'll have a little more time to stamp! :) Hopefully!

CASE the new catty exactly Swap

This was my first swap! We chose a card to CASE (Copy) exactly from the New Catalog. We made 10 of the same card plus 1 (for the hostess). We send them to the hostess and then we'd get one of each card that was made in the Group we were in! Here are the cards from the Group that I was in. Aren't they wonderful? I wish now, that I was in more than just one Group! But it was my first swap, so I thought I would take it easy! :)

Update

I updated my DDSS slide show. I got another card from my DDSS (dabblin' demo secret sister) and it is awesome! I love the color combo and the technique she used! It's Melted Crayon Background. I've never tried it before, but I have to now! :)

Boy Pages w/o Boyish Stamps

Stamped Images © 1990-2007 Stampin’ Up!

This is a Make & Take (M&T) I am making for my first workshop. She wanted scrapbooking which is wonderful! The hard thing I ran into was making it masculine. She has boys and I have all girls! So I didn't really have any masculine stamps. She pointed out the scrapbook page on 86 and said she really liked the layout. So I just changed the stamp sets and some of the paper. But I feel like it's missing something though. HMMM....

Supplies:
Stamps: Stamp of Authenticity
Paper: Always Artichoke, River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie and Night of Navy
Accessories: Staples, Silver Brads and Stampin' Dimensionals

This is another scrapbook page I'll be demonstrating. She also pointed out the scrapbook page on page 88. I didn't have those stamp sets yet either...but have been wanting them...so I put in a quick order, but if they aren't here by the time my workshop is (Saturday) I'll just stick to this one.

Supplies:
Stamps: Baroque Motifs
Paper: River Rock, Chocolate Chip and Baroque Backgound designer paper
Ink: River Rock and Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Round Tab Punch, Photo corner Punch, Silver Brads and Chocolate Taffeta Ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals

I need to make a card too, but I might just do a box or something.

My First Workshop!!!!

I finally got my first workshop! I wasn't really trying to get any booked, it just happened! I am so excited and scared and the same time. If you know me, you know that standing in front of people is not my thing at all! Even though I am a shy person, I still became a demo...wasn't going to make much out of it...unless it went to the next level on its own...and well...I think it's heading there!!! So I have less than a week to get ready for my first workshop! I better get in gear!

Bright Idea

Okay...it's not that bright of an idea, but I didn't know what else to put as the Title. Starting now, I want to post in my blog once a day. I think it will help me get some things done rather than just looking at my stamps and paper! :) Which I do quite often! So hopefully I can actually make this one stick! Tend to forget that I actually have a blog! So here it goes...

Dabblin' Demos Secret Sister

On SCS (Splitcoaststampers), the demo only side we have Secret Sisters. We are in Round 8 (my first time participating) and I’m loving everything about it! It where we pick a certain amount we want to spend ($15 or $20) in 4 months and we are given a name and an address and we send stuff to them (aka little sister). I have a big sister that sends stuff to me. Its either $5 in gifts a month or one big gift at the end of the four months and that is when we reveal ourselves! We are also required to send either one card a month or two cards a month (depending on what Group you chose). It is really fun and nice to get things in the mail! Well here is what I’ve received since July 15th!

Happiness

This is a 6x6 layout of my daughter...if you know her she loves her Care Bears or any stuffed animal for that matter! Ever since she was about 18 months she lined everything in a row! If something wasn't facing the right way she'd have to move it so it was facing the right way. She is still like that to this day! She makes me laugh! I love her so much!

The colors were really hard for me to work with...too much color in the photo, but didn't want to make it a black and white and take a way from the colors of the Care Bears. I used Always Artichoke and Blush Blossom. I used the slit punch to make the scalloped edges (Blush Blossom) and then I stamped the definition of delight from Define Your Life stamp set in VersaMark and heat embossed it with Clear Embossing powder. The title is from the Happiness Background stamp stamped in Always Artichoke and cut out. I love both of these stamp sets!

It's been a while since I have posted something...so i thought I would post the cards we will be making for my Stamp Club. Made the first card with some new stamps I got from my preview order and the new In Colors! The other card is a set that was in a Mini Catalog but made it to the 2007 Fall/Winter Catalog. Thanks for looking.

It's about time!

My husband and I went camping a couple weeks ago and our girls stayed with his Mother! She's been getting after us for months to go get their pictures taken (she has current pictures of all her other Grandchildren and she wants current ones of the girls)! We are horrible, we took pictures of Katryce (the oldest) when she was three months old and that was it! Well, besides the candids from Birthdays and stuff like that.

So while we were camping she took the girls and got their pictures taken at JcPenny's! What a wonderful Mother! If she hadn't done it for us they still wouldn't be done! This is just one of the pictures that they printed off, but so far I think it's my favorite!

I got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked my mail this morning and I got my new Catalog from Stampin Up! The way it was going I didn't think I would ever see my catty! Over at SCS it seemed like everyone had theirs before me! Now, I know thats not true...there are still a ton of people that don't have theirs and I'm so very sorry! I can't wait till we can order! There is so much I want, it's not even funny! I want all the paper but of course for those who know me that isn't a big surprise!

I should be getting my pre-view order tomorrow, so once I make some cards or whatever with the new stuff I'll post them here so you'll have an idea of whats in the catalog!

Long Cards...

Images © 1990-2007 Stampin’ Up!

I finally decided to do another SCS challenge. Which turned out to be a real challenge for me...The Color Combination Challenge used Cool Caribbean and Morning Marigold (which I have never used) and the Try a New Technique challenge was to make a long card using a set that is retiring! So I decided to use the hostess set "love it". I ended up using VersaMark a lot since I didn't have any of those colors in Classic ink pads. Here's what I did:

1) I cut the Cool Caribbean to 9"x 7.5" and scored at 3.75".
2) Cut Morning Marigold to 1.5"x 9. I took the stamp with the three flowers on it and stamped only the one flower in Versamark and made my background.
3) Then I cut Pretty in Pink to 1"x9" and stamped the three hearts in versamark and made a "border". To get them to stand out a little more I brushed them with Pretty in Pink Stampin Pastels using a Q-tip.
4) Stamp the single heart in versamark onto Cool Caribbean. Dust it with Bashful Blue Stampin Pastels and cut out using your paper scissors. Using 3-D foam adhere it to the card.
5) Cut Whisper White paper to 3 1/8"x2.25". Stamp the single flower in Versamark and "brush" with Summer Sun and pretty in pink stampin Pastels. Using the Best Wishes stamp from Simple Wishes stamp in Basic Black on to Whisper White. Cut Pretty in Pink to 3.25"x2.5" and adhere to your finished Whisper white. Adhere to card.
This size of card will fit into your legal sized envelopes!

I'm still here...

I haven't forgotten about you guys! I'm trying to get some cards done so I can upload them here! Thanks for your patience!

Happy Fathers Day

Images © 1990-2007 Stampin’ Up!

Do I ever need some stamps with sayings! I didn't have a single stamp set for Fathers Day and nothing masculine! So this is what I had to do for Fathers Day! I used Brocade Blue CS (cardstock) for the base of the card. Old Olive for the second layer stamped with the paisley stamp from Fresh Fillers stamped in old olive classic ink. "memo" stamp is from Office Accoutrement from the Spring Mini Catalog. I also used "happy" from Polka Dots & Paisleys which is also from the Spring Mini. Lastly I stamped out "FATHERS DAY" with Rough Edges Alphabet.

I did it!

Hope this works! My first time setting up a blog. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but never got up the nerve. So bare with me if I don't update a lot right now! I'll try my best!
