Halloween

I wanted to make a Halloween Card, but realized I didn't really have any Halloween Stamps.

The only ones I had were the ones from the Holiday Blitz Stamp Set. So I got on the internet to check the blogs that I follow and guess what? Heather over at Stamp with Heather posted about how to make a bat with Stampin' Up! punches! Perfect I thought! so this is what I came up with! I didn't have the 1 3/4" circle punch, so I used my coluzzle instead. I misplaced my small star punch (sure I'll find it once we move), so I just used the large star punch, but just a little of the point. If that makes sense?!
I hope you enjoyed my card! I really like how it turned out!
Batty Card:
Stamps: Holiday Blitz and All Holidays
Paper: Basic black, Pumpkin Pie, Kiwi Kiss and basic gray
Ink: Kiwi Kiss and Basic Black,
Accessories: 1 1/4", 1 3/8", 1/2", 1/4" circle punches; 5-petal punch, slit punch, larger star punch. 2 way glue pen and basic gray taffeta ribbon.
Hopefully I remembered everything!!

Christmas Card

I always see cards using Kraft with a green and some times a red....loving the cards I see. I decided to make one of my own. I'm not as happy with it as I thought I would be, but it gets the job done right? I guess I've been having a little big of Stampers Block....nothings coming to me...and I am not feeling very creative.
I started with a Kraft base and inked the edge with Close to Cocoa ink.
I stamped my Always Artichoke card stock with White Craft ink and set it aside to let it dry.
Next I stamped the tree in Always Artichoke onto white cardstock and sponged the edges. It felt a little plain, so I added some ruby Red brads from the earth elements package.
Once the ink on the Artichoke cardstock was dry I adhered it to a piece of Riding Hood red cardstock 1/8" bigger.

I matted the Focal image to another piece of Riding Hood Red cardstock that was also 1/8" bigger than the white. I adhered that over the adhered artichoke piece with dimensionals.
Hope you like my card. thanks for stopping by!
I don't know how much I'll be on for the next couple of weeks. We'll be moving into a different place at the end of this week. So bare with me for the next week or two and I'll be back on soon!

WoW! I was just thinking that it's been like a month and a half since I've actually sat down and made more than one card! Well, I tried a new technique and it didn't turn out for me. The results kind of look like a marble or something to that effect. So I decided to go ahead and make a couple cards with it anyway! So I hope you like them.

I'm not an orange fan, so I don't know why I chose these colors. Amazingly, I actually liked the results. My favorite is the 2nd one... I really like the kraft taffeta ribbon with these colors. In real life, it makes it look more goldish (okay, so I'm tired! :P )
Sorry this is such a short post.... I'm really tired, but I'll be back shortly with another card! I've about fallen asleep on the keyboard a couple times. Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

Finally....something new!

Hello, Everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! I'm fighting a darn cold, but am feeling much better than I did a couple days ago. For some reason, mornings are the worst. In the evenings, I feel almost 100%. But anyways....
Last night, I was sitting at my desk wanting to create something, but nothing came to me...... Probably from the lack of creating this past month or so! The above card is what I came up with....not sure how much I like it, but it works! :) I got the color combo from Carrie over at Artistic Avenger. I love her blog, she is so inspiring!
I started with my Almost Amethyst base and stamped it with Polka Dot Background Stamp in Almost Amethyst ink.
I then grabbed my Curly Label Stamp Set from the Curly Label Punch Bundle (I think that's what it's called). It's in the section with the punches. I stamped the "thank you" image in Elegant Eggplant onto Whisper White Card stock. Punched it out with the Curly label Punch from the same bundle and adhered it to a piece of Always Artichoke Card Stock.
I tied a piece of Moss Gingham around a piece of Elegant Eggplant Cardstock. I mounted the "main image" onto the Elegant Eggplant and adhered that to a piece of Mellow Moss Cardstock.
Finally, I adhered all of that to the base of the card with Dimensionals.
Hope you enjoyed my card and thanks so much for stopping by!
