Haven't posted for a  while...my computer got a virus...so needed to wait to get that fixed and everything.   It's working now, but anything i've created is either using the newly retired stuff or some of my really old stuff (not recently retired).   Don't have too much new stuff yet, so hopefully I'll be placing an order soon.  Trying to come up with open house ideas without any new product is difficult.  So hopefully I'll have something new to post here in a couple days.

Just a quick little update....

We're almost done moving, so hopefully by the end of the week or the beginning of next week I'll have a project to post. I'll tell you though, with working full time and moving....it's been a task! In our past moves I didn't work, so it was a little easier. Thanks for haning in there.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Just letting everyone know that I'm still here. It's just been crazy here the past couple of days. I haven't even had time to play with my new stampin' Up! order. Yes, I just received my first order from the "new" catalog! Do you know how hard that was to wait?!?! I promised myself I wouldn't order though, until I sold some of my old sets.

but anyways, hopefully, I 'll get some time to play today/tonight and will be able to post something soon! Thanks for being stopping by!

Cute!

This isn't really Stampin' Up!, but I thought it was cute and wanted to share.

I was on the computer when i heard my two girls run up to my husband and say, "Daddy, here this is for you!" and hands him something. He brings it in and this is what it was :

My oldest is always making things (drawing pictures, making cards with me....anything she can get her hands on she turns into something-- did that make sense?). I did not help her at all with this, in fact, I've never even used punches for something other than they were "meant" for. You know to punch out stamps or to "frame" a sentiment or something. Never to make bats, fences, people, animals, cartoons...or anything like that. I think all those things look awesome, but just have never sat down and made anything....so she didn't even get this idea from seeing me. Okay....I'm just a little excited! Can you tell? LOL. I love her creativity! Okay enough I'll let you go...better go monitor now! ;)

Okay, I love that the online catty is in pdf! I know it may take a long time to download, but it's worth it to me. Now, we can search for any item used in the online catty.

Last night, I was wanting to use Pacific Point and wondered what other colors people used with it. So I got this bright idea (probably not the first person to do this) to download the HUGE online pdf and search for Pacific Point throught the catalog. You can do this with a stamp set, tools used or anything! hope that makes sense! I'm excited and probably not making much sense! If you have any questions...let me know!

Organizing & Rearranging!

Just letting everyone know that I haven't been stamping lately! I know, I know I'm going through withdrawls! LOL. Well not too bad, I'm at least playing with my stuff. Right now, I'm in the process of rearranging and organizing my craft room. I had a "L-shaped" desk in there as my work space and he needs one for the new shop he is moving his business into...so I gave him that and I'll get our old dinning room table! I'm so excited!!!! It will save me some room, plus I'll get a bigger work area--which I'm always needing (I'm a messy scrapbooker/card maker). Once I get this project done, I'll be able to stamp! Stamp Club

I had my stamp club this weekend (I have it every third Saturday). I had a lot of fun (like always)!! I just love my "group". Everybody did a wonderful job at their Challenge!! I should have kept them and posted them (if they wanted me to), but oh well....maybe next time.

That reminds me I need to think of something for this months challenge. Maybe I'll do another card sample (like we did last month) I got the most "response" out of that challenge. Hmm...I'll think of something...maybe I'll post a Poll on my side bar. Okay...thinking out loud. LOL!

I have one project done (well sorta....just waiting for my paper to show up so I can finish it) for next month, but I don't know what I'm going to really do for my technique. Hmm.... For those that are reading this, What techniques do you/your friends/customers seem to like the most? Thanks in advance!

Hopefully, I will have something to post (card wise) soon! I haven't done any stamping TODAY and I'm going through withdrawls already!

Christmas Stamp-a-Stack

My Christmas Stamp-a-stack turned out really well! The Monday before my SAS I had two people that were coming. Then by Thursday (2 days before my SAS) I had 10 people coming. So lets just say I had fun cutting out all the cards in just two days! :) It was my first one ever! Before I became a demonstrator I had never been to a Stamp-a-Stack before....so it was kind of challenging for me to figure out how I wanted to do everything. But I think it turned out very well! I have a workshop on the 22nd that I need to get ready for. So I should be creating more stuff to share with you guys! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted! Thanks for stopping by!
